Medical Services Director, Emeritus:

 

Luis Oxholm, D.O.

​

Dr. Oxholm is board certified by The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as an adult psychiatrist with over 25 years of clinical practice experience. He has retired from patient care duties, but remains an owner of Southern Oregon Behavioral Wellness Center. 
 

He completed residency training at Michigan State University along with a rotation at The University of Michigan to further advance his skills. He continued advancing his skills and clinical knowledge by completing a fellowship in Consult Liaison Psychiatry at the at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.

For the bulk of his career, Dr. Oxholm has worked as a private practice clinician and as a psychiatric services provider in community health systems in Michigan and Oregon. He has been a peer to peer educator at numerous medical events and a clinical educator to medical students and residents in training. His experience utilizing TMS therapy to treat MDD began in 2011 when the treatment was just gaining positive widespread recognition across the United States. He is very excited to bring Spravato(TM)  treatment to the Rogue Valley.

Facility Director: Lauren Oxholm, Bachelor of 

Science Psychology, Life Coach, Certified TMS Treatment Specialist, Behavioral Wellness Specialist.

 

Lauren has worked in the Behavioral Health field over 25 years. She received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Michigan State University and a Life Coach designation from The Institute for Life Coach Training in Redlands, CA in 2007. 

 

She has developed and taught courses designed to train professionals on applying life coaching techniques in order to increase traditional treatment outcomes. She has written articles for local magazines on various topics related to mental health and conducts web-based workshops for those diagnosed with mental illness in addition to her work at SOBWC.

Olivia Oxholm

Dance, Yoga, Movement

​

Olivia began dancing at the age of 3. She was the recipient of many dance awards throughout her years of training and was offered a college scholarship for ballet at a school out East. She settled in at the University of Oregon for her college studies and earned dual degrees in Dance performance with a teaching certificate along with a degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations. 

​

She loves traveling, animals, taking dance classes, teaching dance classes, cooking and long walks with her dog and friends.
